This Summer I traveled to Orcas Island, among the San Juan Islands, northwest of Seattle, for the first time. From day to dusk, it was a feast for the eyes. Everything expressed the joy and peace of nature-- panoramic views of the islands, peaceful mountain lakes, erotic driftwood, mythic faces, tranquil seascapes, and the sensational flight back to Seattle. Thanks to Dennie and Geoff for the log cabin and deer who came each morning to wake me up!
